Sooo Sylas was actually enlisted in the US Military for awhile before Urbanshade yoinked his unit for their personal use. His dad was in the military before him, and he had a close relationship with his mom + little sisters, so he had this whole complex about being The Protector. He wanted to Protect. What better way than to follow his dad’s footsteps and Protect The Country?

I really love the idea of him being placed with Reginald (The Crooked) for “at-home” tasks until whatever parasite is latched to him happened, but since we don’t know very much abt Reggie right now, all of this is up in the air and headcanon and noncanon lmao
What is certain about him at present is that he was moved after an incident to security, specifically escorting certain members of research staff to and from projects, tests, etc etc. His active assignment is to hover around a researcher who primarily specializes in documentation and archival (my friends’ character. the silly.)
Uhh what else can I say. He’s a decent cook? He genuinely cares about people and will be so sweet and kind and gentle face-to-face but lock in and get scary and tough when he has to for someone’s safety. He’s an absolute golden retriever. One of his little sisters made him a Swiftie and he still knows her earlier albums (but nothing from 2016 onward, as that’s about when he went under the ocean and had to lock the fuck in for Urbanshade). He likes wearing skirts and dresses from time to time because swish swish.
I don’t know if they ever do recreational drag races for the fun of it down there, but if they did, he’d be among finalists regularily
